Hello,
I read your blog with attention and I was very interested in the report. More than anything else, I found §2.1.1 about OpenLayers very interesting.
We are actively working on making OpenLayers works on mobile phone. You may be interested in http://www.camptocamp.com/fr/blog/2010/12/mobile-web-gis/

Hi,
Caching map with HTML5 is very promising and there’s a clear need for it!
Hope to see you in Lausanne! If needed, feel free to contact me as I am in charge of mobile development at Camptocamp.
